This woman from Cleveland, Tennessee has just become an Internet sensation after she gave a hilarious rant about leggings to her Facebook friends and telling them to stop wearing leggings as pants.
It’s very common these days to see girls wearing leggings as pants in public, and many consider them as the most popular outerwear for women, but not everyone thinks that they are a true replacement for a proper pair of pants.
Jamie Higdon Randolph posted this video on her Facebook profile and began by explaining calmly the glory of leggings. They’re comfortable, stylish and generally flattering.
What’s not to love?
However, her tone becomes more intense as she quickly asserts that while leggings and yoga pants are unacceptable, leggings that are too tight should simply be deemed pantyhose and, above all, leggings should never be worn as pants under any circumstance.
I couldn’t agree with her anymore. I find young girls wearing leggings as pants, and I am somewhat okay with that.
But when I see a middle age woman or older woman wearing leggings as pants, it made me wonder what is exactly wrong with the society. It does not look good on them but also most of their undergarments are visible which defeats the whole purpose of wearing pants at all in the first place.
