Emma the pit bull was born with a birth defect that left her without functioning back legs. Luckily, she was also born with a big heart. She was taken in as part of the SNARR (Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation) program and soon enough, Emma wouldn’t let her new owners out of her sight.
When her foster father, a U.S. Air Force soldier, left for a tour of duty, Emma was devastated. But after a long 6 months, he finally returned. And their reunion is beautiful.
