Shot, tranquilized and almost frozen, this wolf has seen so much injustice done by men, what these guys did can just begin to make up for it. Navarre as he was named was rescued from the freezing river with 35 buck shots in his body and severe inflammation that nearly paralyzed his hind legs and it was race against time to provide the medical treatment and save him from certain death.
Seeing the human beings behaving the way humans should to our fellow creatures, with love compassion and respect gives me great comfort. I hope Navarre will roam the Italian mountains once again. He’s a survivor.
